A pastry exam? Why not!
I’ve just discovered the existence of a French pastry diploma.
It took me months to understand how the education system works in France with all its acronyms, but I think this diploma could be good for me: it is needed if you want to work in a bakery, restaurant and so on, but also if you want to open a small bar that sells homemade cakes.
This exam is primarily for students in pastry schools aged 16 or so, so it should not be “impossible”. Moreover, I don’t need to attend any courses as the exam can be taken as “candidat libre” (external student).
I will collect more info in the coming days, but for the moment, I can’t wait till the registration period opens (apparently in October)! Registering is free anyway, so I’ve got nothing to lose… 🙂
