Chocolate chip muffins (muffin method)

Ingredients

Yield12 muffins
240 gAll-purpose flour
130 gSugar
10 gBaking powder
1 pinchSalt
2Eggs
240 mlMilk
70 gMelted butter, cooled
1 teaspoonVanilla extract
150gChocolate chips (increase the quantity depending on your level of addiction to chocolate)
1 orangeOrange zest

1Sift the dry ingredients together, including the chocolate chips
2Stir the liquid ingredients together in another bowl
3Combine the dry and liquid ingredients. The batter should be lumpy, so don’t overmix.
4Portion the batter into paper-lined (or silicone) muffin cups
5Bake at 180° until light brown and set in the center, approximately 18 minutes
6Cool the muffins in the pan before removing.

Suggestion: add some granulated sugar (also try brown sugar) on top of the portioned muffins before baking. A thicker crust will form during baking.
